This n8n workflow captures abandoned-cart events via a webhook, uses ApogeoAPI to localize currency and messaging based on the shopper’s IP, waits one hour, then sends a recovery email through SMTP with the localized cart total, language, greeting, and a region-specific coupon.

What this workflow does

• Receives abandoned-cart data via a POST webhook (shopper email, IP address, cart total in USD, and the checkout URL).
• Geolocates the shopper with ApogeoAPI to determine country details, including the local currency.
• Converts USD to local pricing by fetching the current USD-to-local exchange rate and calculating a localized cart total.
• Localizes the email content, including a region-specific greeting, language, and coupon code.
• Waits one hour before sending—giving the customer time to complete checkout without an immediate reminder.
• Sends the recovery email via SMTP with the localized cart total, coupon, and a link back to the checkout.

• Setup includes mapping abandoned-cart event fields to the workflow payload and configuring an SMTP credential and “from” address.
