This n8n workflow receives abandoned cart events via a webhook, uses Google Gemini to generate a recovery email (subject + HTML + offer details), sends it through your email provider API and n8n’s built-in email sender, then returns a clean JSON status back to the webhook caller.

What this workflow does

• Receives an abandoned cart payload at an n8n webhook endpoint (path: email_marketing_1), including recipient_email and cart/customer data.
• Generates a recovery email with Google AI (Gemini) by sending the cart and customer data to the AI. The workflow expects Gemini output formatted as JSON containing: a subject line, an HTML email body, a discount code, a recovery link, and product names.
• Sends the email via your email provider API by calling your provider’s send API with the generated subject and HTML content (using an Authorization header with your API key).
• Sends the same recovery email using n8n’s Email Send node to the recipient address from the incoming payload.
• Normalizes the AI output, records a success/error status with a timestamp, and returns the result as the webhook response.
