Automate employee offboarding end-to-end in n8n: the workflow accepts an offboarding request via webhook, generates a role-appropriate checklist using a Deepseek (OpenAI-compatible) AI agent, logs tasks in Google Sheets, and notifies your manager and team via Gmail and Telegram—including a weekly Monday digest.

What this workflow does

• Receives requests via POST webhook containing employee and departure details.
• Validates required fields; if anything is missing, sends an invalid-request alert to Telegram and an email notice via Gmail.
• Creates an offboarding record and calls a Deepseek v4-flash AI agent that references task templates stored in Google Sheets to generate: a checklist, handover summary, and risks.
• Parses AI JSON output, calculates task due dates relative to the employee’s last working day, and formats each checklist item into task rows.
• Writes results to Google Sheets: appends tasks to TaskLog and the departure summary to a Departures sheet.
• Notifies stakeholders: emails the checklist to the manager via Gmail and posts a team alert via Telegram.
• Sends weekly progress digest every Monday at 09:00: reads TaskLog, computes open/done/overdue stats, and uses Deepseek to draft a short digest (or an all-clear), then sends it by Gmail and Telegram.
