Auto-annotate your video scripts with AI visuals—powered by DeepSeek, Kie.ai, and n8n
Paste a video script into an n8n form trigger and get back the script fully annotated with inline image placements. The workflow identifies exactly which sentences need visuals, generates them with AI (via Kie.ai), uploads them to Google Drive for shareable links, and saves your latest placement style for smarter reuse next time.
What this workflow does
- Receives a script through an n8n form trigger, along with optional placement instructions.
- Applies placement rules: uses your submitted instructions, or falls back to your last saved placement style (or a default for your first run).
- Breaks the script into visual-ready segments by sending the script and style rules to DeepSeek, which splits into sentence-level segments and flags which ones need an image.
- Generates images for flagged segments by submitting image tasks to Kie.ai, then polling until each task succeeds or the retry limit is reached.
- Stores permanent image links: downloads each generated image and uploads it to Google Drive to obtain a shareable link.
- Returns an annotated script with inline visual annotations + the image links, and appends the annotated output and the latest style text to Google Sheets.
Use cases
- Turn podcast or YouTube narration scripts into storyboard-style drafts without manual cueing.
- Standardize visual placement across campaigns by reusing a saved placement style.
- Speed up SaaS content production teams using an n8n workflow for script-to-visual automation.
Technical details
