Apify + n8n: Auto Add New Job Postings to Google Sheets

Auto-publish newly found job postings into Google Sheets—every morning

This n8n workflow connects Apify job scraping with Google Sheets so that new job postings are automatically added (or updated) in your “Jobs” tab on a daily schedule—using a stable jobId key to keep records clean.

What this workflow does

• Sleeps, then runs: Executes every day at 08:00 via a schedule trigger.
• Fetches new job postings with Apify: Uses the Apify “careers-jobs” Actor to scrape configured company career pages and filter results (e.g., titleKeywords, locations, remoteOnly, and maxResults), returning only newly published postings.
• Normalizes each job into a spreadsheet row: Transforms each job into a consistent format including company, title, location, workplace type, salary string, posted date, and URL.
• Generates a unique identifier: Creates a jobId for each job to serve as the stable matching key.
• Appends or updates rows in Google Sheets: Writes to the “Jobs” tab, appending new rows and updating existing rows when the jobId matches.
