  • Halts processing if data is invalid or increases are below the specified spike threshold.
  • Classifies cost spikes as Watch, High, or Critical based on the percentage change in expenditure.
  • Creates a detailed Jira issue highlighting the spike information for immediate action.
  • Notifies the relevant Slack channel and emails the Finance team through Gmail with a concise summary.
  • Logs comprehensive run details back to the Google Sheets baseline for continuity and future reference.
