This n8n workflow automatically watches a Google Drive folder for new contract PDFs, parses them with LlamaParse, extracts key obligations using GPT-4o-mini, and manages renewal/termination decisions through Slack button actions—while keeping a complete register in Google Sheets and drafting termination notices in Gmail.

What this workflow does

• Detects new PDFs in Google Drive: Triggers when a new file is created in a specific folder and continues only if the file is a PDF.
• Parses contracts with LlamaParse: Downloads the PDF, submits it to LlamaParse, polls until parsing completes, and alerts Slack if parsing fails or times out.
• Extracts structured terms with OpenAI: Retrieves the parsed markdown from LlamaParse and uses gpt-4o-mini to extract key contract terms, risks, and obligations.
• Registers data in Google Sheets: Calculates notice decision deadlines, upserts the contract into a Contracts tab, and upserts each extracted obligation into an Obligations tab.
• Sends renewal/termination prompts daily: Runs at 9 AM to detect notice milestones (90/60/30 days and overdue), posts Slack messages with Renew/Terminate buttons, and marks milestones as sent in Sheets.
• Delivers an obligations digest: Also runs at 9 AM to compile open obligations due within 7 days (or overdue) and posts a Slack digest.
• Handles decisions via webhook approval: Receives button clicks, validates a one-time approval token against Google Sheets, records the decision, and either confirms renewal in Slack or drafts a termination notice in Gmail.
