Turn every dog walk into an instant owner report card—automatically
This n8n workflow captures each new dog-walk visit, matches the dog to your Google Sheets roster, has DeepSeek generate an owner-friendly report card, then logs the visit, emails the card to the owner, and flags anything that needs human attention on Telegram.
What this workflow does
- Receives walk submissions via the “When Visit Logged” form, including dog name, walker name, date, duration, and notes.
- Normalizes and validates data using Normalize Visit (tidies fields) followed by Validate Visit before continuing.
- Loads your dog roster from Google Sheets with Read Dog Roster.
- Matches and verifies the dog using Match Dog to Roster and Check Known Dog, ensuring the dog is on the roster.
- Generates the report card in Build Report Prompt by combining visit details and the dog profile, then using DeepSeek’s Draft Report Card agent.
- Parses and records results with Parse Report Card (reads JSON), then Log Visit appends the visit and card to the Visits tab.
- Sends the owner email through Email Report Card to Owner (via Gmail).
- Escalates concerns to humans using Check Concern, posting flagged items to Telegram for operations review.
- Runs scheduled follow-ups: Weekly Pack Report emails a weekly summary, and Daily Route Brief sends the day’s route to the walker on Telegram.
Use cases
- Owner inboxes always receive a consistent, friendly walk report right after each visit.
- Automation engineers streamline visit intake → report generation → logging → email → escalation.
- SaaS operators reduce manual admin by centralizing visit history in Google Sheets while keeping exceptions on Telegram.
