This n8n workflow automatically captures your legal-policy pages as PDF snapshots, archives evidence to Amazon S3, visually compares pages against a reviewed baseline, and sends Slack alerts whenever changes are detected.

What this workflow does

Designed for reliable, repeatable compliance evidence, the workflow runs on a fixed schedule and produces an audit trail you can review.

• Runs monthly on the 1st of every month.
• Reads legal-policy URLs from a Google Sheets register tab (URL, document name, and a baseline image URL).
• For each page, Snapshot Site captures a full-page PDF of the live page with the cookie banner left visible.
• Downloads the hosted PDF and uploads it to AWS S3 using a dated key per document for evidence archiving.
• Uses Snapshot Site Compare to measure visual differences between the live page and the stored baseline image.
• Writes results back to Google Sheets (capture timestamp, S3 key, mismatch percentage, and a diff link) by appending or updating an audit log entry.
• Alerts in Slack when mismatch percentage is > 0, and sends separate alerts if any capture, download, compare, or upload step fails.
