• Telemetry Extraction: It extracts crucial telemetry information such as workflow name, failing node, error message/stack, execution URL, and HTTP status codes.
• Error Classification with Anthropic: By integrating Anthropic (Claude), the workflow classifies errors into transient or logic categories, providing structured JSON with a category, confidence level, and remediation guidance.
• Intelligent Retry Mechanism: If an error is classified as transient and retry conditions are met, the workflow uses exponential backoff to retry the failed execution through the n8n API, keeping track of each retry attempt up to three times.
• Jira Issue Creation: For errors that are not eligible for retry or exceed retry attempts, a Jira issue is automatically created, including all diagnostic information and failure details.
• OpenTelemetry Integration: Posts an OpenTelemetry trace span to capture the error classification and whether a retry was attempted or queued, providing valuable insights into the error handling process.
