Track your Bing keyword rankings in Google Sheets—automatically, every week
This n8n workflow checks Bing for your keywords every Monday morning and appends a fresh set of organic ranking results into Google Sheets—complete with position, title, domain, snippet, URL, and a YES/flag showing whether your site appears.
What this workflow does
- Runs on a weekly schedule using a scheduled trigger every Monday morning.
- Loads your tracking settings: your keyword list, your domain (your site flagging), market (e.g., en-US), and device (e.g., desktop).
- Searches Bing once per keyword via the Apify Bing Search API actor (johnvc~bing-search-api).
- Filters results to organic only, removing non-organic items from the dataset.
-
Formats each organic result into one Google Sheets row including:
- Week of date
- Keyword
- Rank/Page position
- Is your site (YES flag when domain matches)
- Title, Domain, Snippet, and URL
- Appends rows to your selected Google Sheets spreadsheet and worksheet.
Use cases
- Maintain a lightweight Bing keyword rank tracker without a dedicated SEO suite.
- Weekly reporting for SaaS marketing teams who want rankings in Google Sheets for easy sharing.
- For automation engineers: set-and-forget monitoring of keyword visibility using n8n.
- Validate whether your domain is showing up for target queries in a specific market/device.
