Turn raw AI or stock clips into platform-ready Shorts/Reels—without installing FFmpeg
Brand-Pipe for n8n formats and normalizes your videos using the Brand-Pipe API, so your output fits 9:16 (YouTube Shorts/TikTok), 1:1, or 16:9—adds your logo, and normalizes loudness to -14 LUFS. It runs on n8n Cloud and the official Docker image, delivering an MP4 you can upload right away.
What this workflow does
- Starts with a Manual Trigger inside n8n.
- Prompts you to set parameters: source video URL, logo URL, target format (vertical/square/landscape), and whether to normalize audio.
- Calls Brand-Pipe /v1/process using your API key and an idempotency key to generate the branded, formatted video.
- Checks the API response for success, then either:
- Downloads the processed MP4 from the returned URL and stores it in the binary property video.
- Or stops execution and surfaces the error message from Brand-Pipe.
Use cases
- Convert AI-generated clip outputs into YouTube Shorts with your brand logo applied automatically.
- Batch-produce consistent TikTok and Instagram Reels formats from a library of raw videos.
- Standardize loudness to -14 LUFS so every render sounds consistent across campaigns.
- Use the workflow as a preprocessing step before uploading to YouTube/TikTok or storing in S3 / Google Drive.
Technical details
- Works with a Brand-Pipe API key (paid service; 25 free videos to test; failed renders are refunded).
- n8n HTTP Header Auth credential: Brand-Pipe API Key with header name X-API-Key.
- Nodes used: if, set, sticky note, HTTP Request, Stop and Error, Manual Trigger.
Result: an FFmpeg-free, Brand-Pipe-powered video pipeline you can plug into your existing n8n automation workflows.
