This n8n workflow publishes a bearer-protected MCP server that lets Claude, Cursor, and other MCP clients perform Bright Data-backed Google/Bing web search, fetch Google AI Overview, pull People Also Ask questions, and read any URL as markdown—all in one secure interface.

What this workflow does

• Publishes an MCP server endpoint secured with bearer authentication.
• Google Search via Bright Data: sends search requests and returns trimmed organic fields (rank, title, link, description, source).
• Google AI Overview via Bright Data: retrieves the overview text for a query and returns cited references.
• People Also Ask via Bright Data: fetches related questions and returns a ranked question list.
• Bing Web + Bing News via Bright Data: runs both searches and returns trimmed result fields with direct links.
• Web page reading (Web Unlocker): reads a provided URL through Bright Data’s Web Unlocker and returns the page content as markdown.
• Optional testing in n8n Chat: includes an agent that calls the same MCP tools from an OpenAI Chat Model-powered n8n chat interface.

• Zones: expects Bright Data zones like serp_api1 (searches) and web_unlocker1 (page reads), or you can update zone values in the workflow.
