Turn n8n Form submissions into a Google Sheets CRM lead pipeline—automatically
Capture every lead through an n8n Form and automatically append the submission into a Google Sheets “Leads” spreadsheet for later qualification and follow-up. No manual copying—your CRM-style data stays organized as soon as the form is submitted.
What this workflow does
- Collects lead details via an n8n Form, including contact information, role, interests, challenges, and budget.
- Creates a unique lead ID based on the workflow execution.
- Adds lead metadata such as the entry date, the source, and default status values for consistent tracking.
- Appends a new row to your Google Sheets document on the “Leads” sheet, mapping the form fields to your spreadsheet columns.
Setup requirements
- Connect your Google Sheets credentials and select the target Google Sheets document ID for the append action.
- Confirm your spreadsheet includes a sheet named “Leads” with columns matching the fields you use (for example: Email, WhatsApp, País, Estado, Fecha de entrada).
- Publish the n8n Form and share the form URL so leads can submit their information.
Use cases
- Software or SaaS teams capturing prospects from a lead form into a simple CRM tracker.
- Automation engineers setting up a lightweight lead capture pipeline in n8n without building a full CRM.
- Ops teams qualifying inbound interest later by reviewing consistent fields and default statuses in Google Sheets.
Technical details
- Nodes / integrations: form trigger (n8n Form) and google sheets (append action).
- Destination: Google Sheets spreadsheet on the “Leads” sheet.
- Data model: lead fields + generated lead ID + entry date/source + default status values.
