This n8n workflow takes a supplier name submitted via a form, searches Germany’s official Handelsregister through Apify, selects the best match, logs the normalized result to Google Sheets, and shows the outcome back on the confirmation page.

What this workflow does

• Receives input from an n8n form (company name, optional register number, and an exact or keyword search choice).
• Queries Apify’s “Germany Handelsregister Scraper” to retrieve up to five matching companies from the official Handelsregister.
• Handles failures safely: if the register request fails, it prepares a “check failed” result so the run is not recorded simply as “no match.”
• Selects the best match: when results are returned, it prefers an exact company name match, then extracts key fields such as legal form, register court/number, status, address, capital, EUID, and other matching data.
• Appends a normalized row to Google Sheets so you can audit checks over time.
• Displays a completion message on the form confirmation page showing either matched company details, “No match found,” or that the register did not answer.
