What this workflow does

• Runs manually and reads migration settings (ClickUp & Asana tokens, workspace IDs, plan/rate limits, and a notification email address).
• Validates connectivity by calling the Asana REST API and ClickUp REST API to confirm your tokens and workspace/team IDs before starting.
• Sends a start email using Gmail to notify stakeholders that the migration has begun.
• Executes five migration stages in sequence:
  • Users
  • Spaces/Teams and folders/lists (mapped into portfolios/projects)
  • Custom fields
  • Tasks including subtasks, comments, checklists, and attachments
• Prevents duplicates on reruns by storing ClickUp-to-Asana ID mappings in n8n Data Tables at each stage.
