Capture new client leads instantly—and log them cleanly in Google Sheets
This n8n automation turns an n8n Form submission into a normalized, timestamped row in Google Sheets, so every new intake is tracked consistently from day one.
What this workflow does
When a prospective client submits your intake form, this workflow:
- Receives new submission data via an n8n Form Trigger (Name, Email, Company, Service needed, Budget, Notes).
- Cleans and standardizes inputs by trimming whitespace, collapsing repeated spaces, and lowercasing the email address.
- Creates an ISO timestamp for accurate ordering and auditability.
- Appends the normalized intake data to a new row in a specified Google Sheets worksheet, mapping values to the sheet headers.
Use cases
- Client intake: collect service requests and automatically store them in Google Sheets for your sales pipeline.
- Lead tracking: ensure every lead includes a timestamp and consistent formatting (especially email casing).
- Ops and reporting: maintain a reliable dataset for follow-ups, monitoring, or handoffs to your team.
