CSV-Driven Infographic Video Automation with n8n, Claude & Shotstack

Turn a local CSV into vertical infographic videos—automatically

This n8n workflow reads a local videos.csv, then for each row uses Anthropic Claude and Shotstack to generate a vertical infographic video with AI visuals, scripted voiceover, music, and an optional animated shot—saving each MP4 to disk and writing a timestamped results CSV with success or failure details.

What this workflow does

• Manual run + CSV ingestion: Executes manually and converts your local videos.csv into one n8n item per CSV row.
• Row-by-row processing (no concurrent renders): Processes rows sequentially to avoid multiple video renders running at the same time.
• Claude-driven structured content: Uses Anthropic Claude to produce validated structured JSON for each video (including hooks, on-screen text, voiceover lines, and prompts for image/music, plus an optional animated shot).
• Validation + safe failure: Stops processing a row if required JSON fields are missing, malformed, or exceed allowed length.
• Shotstack generation + editing: Uses Shotstack to generate a hero image (optionally editing a provided product photo) and generate background music, then builds a Shotstack render edit for infographic scenes.
• Voiceover + optional image-to-video: Generates ElevenLabs voiceover audio from the scripted lines and optionally adds an image-to-video AI shot.
• Render, download, save, log: Renders in Shotstack, downloads the resulting MP4, saves it to a local folder, and appends the outcome (filename or error step) to a timestamped results CSV.
