What this workflow does

• Runs daily on a cron schedule (8:00 AM) using n8n automation scheduling.
• Builds Google News RSS search URLs for your configured list of companies and regulators.
• Fetches and parses RSS items, then filters to keep only stories within your lookbackHours window that match AI-related keywords.
• Deduplicates candidates by URL or normalized title to remove exact repeats and near redundancy.
• Uses OpenAI Chat Completions to strictly filter for relevance to AI applied to fintech/payments, semantically merge near-duplicate stories, and generate a one-sentence summary per surviving item.
• Sends an HTML email via Gmail only if results exist—if nothing is found, the workflow ends without emailing.
• Includes counts and source attribution in the digest for quick scanning.
