This n8n workflow runs every day to aggregate patent expiry, FDA Orange Book exclusivity, ANDA/Paragraph IV filings, and market revenue data—then calculates a weighted 0–100 Generic Opportunity Score, logs results in Airtable, and sends WhatsApp alerts for BD action.

What this workflow does

• Runs daily (7am) or on-demand: scheduled execution loads configuration values (API URLs, score thresholds, Airtable/WhatsApp targets) and supports manual testing.
• Fetches and combines multiple data sources via HTTP requests: patent expiry, FDA Orange Book exclusivity, ANDA/Paragraph IV filing activity, and market revenue estimates.
• Computes a weighted Generic Opportunity Score (0–100) for each drug/NDA by joining datasets and applying the configured scoring logic.
• Adds correlation flags such as first-mover windows and litigation risk signals to improve BD decision context.
• Routes items by priority (high, watch, low) using configured threshold rules.
• For high-priority candidates, uses Anthropic Claude to generate a structured business-development report, then upserts the report into Airtable and sends a WhatsApp alert to the BD lead.
• Handles acknowledgement and re-scoring: waits for BD acknowledgement via a resume webhook, enforces a grace period, re-fetches competitive filings, re-scores, and then escalates or closes via WhatsApp messaging.
• For watch-tier items, upserts watch entries in Airtable and sends a WhatsApp notice, followed by a run digest summarizing processed opportunities.
