What this workflow does

• Fetches daily AI stories from Hacker News using the public Algolia API (no Hacker News API key required).
• Filters for the freshest, link-valid posts and ranks items by community points.
• Selects the top 8 stories each morning.
• Uses OpenAI to write a punchy plain-language summary of the headlines (the AI summary appears first in the briefing).
• Formats everything into a clean Markdown briefing, then includes the top stories as linked headlines with point counts.
• Sends the finished briefing to Telegram in your chosen chat.
