Learn JLPT every day—automatically—straight into Microsoft Teams
This n8n workflow generates a structured JLPT lesson every day using your Google Sheets study lists and AWS Bedrock (Anthropic Claude), then posts an interactive Microsoft Teams Adaptive Card so you can practice immediately.
What this workflow does
Designed for daily, spaced-out JLPT learning, it:
- Runs on a daily schedule at 8:00 using a schedule trigger.
- Reads your progress from Google Sheets: learned kanji plus previously taught and available grammar points (from tabs such as Kanji, Grammar Bank, and Grammar).
- Selects the next unused grammar point for your configured JLPT level and rotates the lesson topic daily.
- Generates a complete JLPT lesson via AWS Bedrock chat (Claude), including examples, a reading passage, questions, and vocabulary—each with kana, romaji, and English fields.
- Proofreads and improves consistency using a second Bedrock pass while keeping the same lesson structure intact.
- Validates content against your Grammar Bank facts (when available), converts any unlearned kanji to hiragana using kana fields, and flags furigana alignment issues.
- Posts the lesson to Microsoft Teams as a Teams Adaptive Card, with tap-to-reveal furigana/romaji/English/answers.
- Logs the taught grammar by appending the grammar pattern and meaning to the Google Sheets Grammar tab so it won’t be repeated.
Use cases
- JLPT learners who want daily practice reminders in Teams.
- Automation engineers running self-managed AI study content from their own Google Sheets curriculum.
- SaaS operators or teams who want a repeatable lesson pipeline across JLPT levels with controlled grammar coverage.
