This n8n workflow runs every morning at 08:00 to scan Webz.io news across multiple topics, uses OpenAI GPT-4.1-mini to curate a structured digest, posts it to Slack, and archives every selected story into Google Sheets.

What this workflow does

• Runs daily at 08:00 based on your workflow timezone.
• Loads digest configuration (topics list, lookback days, article count, and the Slack channel) and splits it into one item per topic.
• For each topic, calls the Webz.io news search tool and uses OpenAI GPT-4.1-mini to select up to five significant articles, returning structured fields: headline, publisher, why it matters, and URL.
• Merges results across topics, removes duplicate URLs, and formats a single Slack-ready digest while building a per-story dataset.
• If no stories are found, the workflow stops without posting or archiving.
• If stories exist, it posts the digest to Slack and appends one row per story to your specified Google Sheets sheet.
