For critical breaches, it also updates supplier status in Notion for immediate escalation.

What this workflow does

• Runs daily on a scheduled trigger at a set hour.
• Pulls all supplier records from Notion, then calculates days remaining to certification expiry.
• Reduces alert fatigue by skipping offboarded/requalification suppliers and suppressing vendors alerted within the last 14 days.
• Prepares each actionable supplier: computes urgency context and updates the supplier record with “Last Compliance Alert” to prevent duplicate reminders.
• Generates communications with Groq + LangChain: uses Groq (Llama 3.3) to produce a structured JSON payload containing an email body and a Slack message per supplier.
• Routes by urgency bracket (30 days, 14 days, critical breach, or missing data), formats the content, and sends notifications.
• Escalates critical breaches: sends supplier emails via Gmail, posts internal Slack alerts, and updates the supplier’s Notion status to “In Requalification”, including a final suspension email workflow path.
