This n8n automation workflow automatically reads a daily content topic from Google Sheets, uses OpenAI (GPT-4o) to draft platform-specific posts, requests approval in Slack, and then publishes the approved content to LinkedIn and X—while logging everything back to Google Sheets.

What this workflow does

• Runs on a schedule: executes every morning at 8:00 AM.
• Reads today’s topic: pulls the day’s content topic from a designated Google Sheets content calendar.
• Generates drafts with GPT-4o: uses GPT-4o to create drafts tailored for LinkedIn, X, and an Instagram caption based on the topic.
• Requests human review in Slack: posts the generated drafts to a Slack channel for approval.
• Pauses until approval: uses an n8n wait step that resumes when an approval webhook is triggered (e.g., via a Slack button/link).
• Publishes approved content: posts the approved content to LinkedIn, then publishes to X.
• Logs results back to Sheets: appends a publishing log entry to Google Sheets with the posted content and/or links.
