Egg-Free Restaurant Finder (Telegram + n8n) using Google Sheets helps users identify likely egg-free options from restaurant menu photos and discover nearby egg-free spots on an interactive Leaflet/OpenStreetMap webpage—powered by a community-maintained Google Sheets list.

What this workflow does

• Telegram-first experience: The workflow triggers whenever your Telegram bot receives a message, then routes logic based on whether the user sends a photo, a location, an /add command, or a text query.
• Menu photo allergy screening (Claude): For menu images, it downloads the photo from Telegram and sends it to the Anthropic Claude Messages API with allergy-focused instructions. The bot replies with dish groupings such as “likely egg-free”, “ask staff”, and “likely contains egg”.
• Nearby results from your community map: For shared locations, it stores the latest coordinates in a Google Sheets “Pending” tab, reads the “Restaurants” tab, calculates distance, and returns up to five nearby community-added restaurants (including Google Maps links).
• Community contributions with validation: For /add, it validates the command format and requires a recent saved location from Pending, then appends the new restaurant details (name, coordinates, dishes, notes, metadata) to Restaurants and clears the pending coordinates.
• Name searches with fallback to web data: If users search by restaurant name, it first matches the query against the Restaurants tab. If nothing is found, it searches Google Places and scans returned reviews for allergy- and vegan-related keywords.
