With the ESG Supplier Diversity n8n Workflow: Google Sheets, Groq & Notion, your team can automatically calculate supplier diversity and ESG spend performance from Google Sheets, generate executive summaries and rebalancing recommendations using Groq, publish a weekly Notion scorecard, and email an HTML briefing via Gmail—on a Monday schedule.

What this workflow does

• Runs weekly (every Monday) using an n8n schedule trigger.
• Pulls data from Google Sheets: supplier master data, procurement transactions, and configured target thresholds (e.g., category targets).
• Normalizes and joins transactions to suppliers, then calculates:
  • Total spend
  • Diverse spend (women-owned, minority-owned)
  • ESG-qualified spend
  • Whether configured targets are met
• If targets are met (or there’s no qualifying spend data), it generates an executive summary with Groq and skips rebalancing.
• If any target is missed, it identifies category gaps and qualified low-risk diverse suppliers, then asks Groq to propose FROM → TO spend shifts.
• Validates and caps recommendations against ESG, risk, and rebalancing limits.
• Publishes results to Notion by creating a database page with the weekly scorecard.
• Sends a formatted HTML email via Gmail, including a link to the Notion page when available.
