This self-hosted n8n workflow pulls Google Search results (SERP) for your query using the FlashData Google Search API, then exports the organic rankings into a downloadable google-serp.csv file—ready for analysis, research, and tracking.

What this workflow does

• Runs on manual execution from your n8n workspace.
• Lets you configure the search query, country (gl), language (hl), and the desired result count.
• Queries FlashData’s Google Search API to retrieve SERP results.
• Extracts and normalizes organic results into rows including:
  • query, position
  • title, URL, snippet
  • capture time (“collection time”)
  • credit usage for the API request
• Generates a CSV named google-serp.csv for download directly from the workflow execution.

Technical details

• Requirements: self-hosted n8n only, plus a FlashData account with an API key and paid Credits (FlashData queries consume credits billed separately).
• Node package: install n8n-nodes-flashdata version 0.2.0+. This template is free; the node is not available on n8n Cloud.
• Integrations/nodes used: FlashData (Google Search request) via n8n-nodes-flashdata, plus n8n steps for manual trigger, set, code, sticky note, and convert to file to produce the CSV.
