Automatically fetch new ATS open roles from Apify—directly inside n8n
This n8n workflow calls Apify’s “ATS Open Roles” actor to retrieve newly posted job listings from selected company career sites, tags each result with its source, and forwards the enriched items to your chosen destination (e.g., Google Sheets, Slack, or a CRM).
What this workflow does
- Runs daily at 07:00 (or you can start it on demand using a manual trigger).
- Sends a POST request to the Apify API to run the actor transparent_meteorite/ats-open-roles and synchronously return dataset items as JSON.
-
Filters results in the request body by:
- companies to monitor
- maxJobsPerCompany to limit volume
- onlyNewSinceLastRun to focus on newly posted jobs
- Adds a “_source” field to each returned job item to identify Apify as the origin.
- Passes the job items to a destination placeholder step so you can route them to your target app and map fields as needed.
Use cases
- Recruiting ops teams tracking new ATS job postings across multiple companies and keeping a single repository up to date.
- SaaS operators building automated pipelines that push fresh roles into Slack notifications or Google Sheets for review.
- Automation engineers setting up a scheduled n8n workflow that collects “new since last run” postings for downstream CRM enrichment.
Technical details
- Nodes used: set, no op, sticky note, HTTP Request, Manual Trigger, Schedule Trigger
- Apify integration: uses n8n “Header Auth” with Authorization: Bearer <YOUR_APIFY_API_TOKEN>
- Workflow behavior: scheduled run at 07:00 or manual test, POSTs to Apify, returns dataset items as JSON, enriches each item with _source, then forwards results to your destination.
