This n8n workflow performs a Figma Design System Audit by reviewing only the changed frames against your design guide using Gemini, then creates/updates Figma comments and posts clear Slack summaries—including weekly reports.

What this workflow does

• Triggers when a Figma named version is saved via webhook, when a team member submits the audit request form, or every Monday at 9:00.
• Validates the request (including the Figma webhook passcode), loads your design guide from Google Docs, and fetches the Figma file structure.
• Targets the right content by selecting the target page and listing top-level frames, then compares frame fingerprints against stored snapshots in n8n Data Tables—keeping only frames that changed (or forcing a review for form requests).
• Runs deterministic checks on each changed frame for contrast, font size, tap targets, unlinked tokens/style usage, and possible detached components; it also loads any still-open findings.
• Uses Gemini to review a generated PNG screenshot alongside the design guide and current findings, proposing new issues and marking AI issues as resolved when they’re fixed.
• Reconciles results by pinning new Figma comments, replying in existing threads for fixed items, and updating findings + frame snapshots in n8n Data Tables.
• Posts to Slack with an audit summary and weekly reporting.
