What this workflow does

• Receives driver updates via Webhook: Accepts a POST webhook check-in containing load and status details from a driver app, dispatcher, or message relay.
• Validates and logs errors: If a required load ID or status notes are missing, it appends an error row to Google Sheets and alerts the dispatch desk in Discord.
• Uses OpenAI for normalization and risk extraction: Sends the update to OpenAI to extract normalized shipment status, ETA, delay details, risk level, and customer-ready text.
• Calculates lateness and adjusts risk: Looks up the load in the Google Sheets “Load Board”, calculates lateness against the delivery appointment, and escalates risk (including exceptions when very late).
• Updates sheets with the latest check-in: Appends to “Check Log” and updates the matching load board row with driver name, status, risk, and last check-in time.
• Routes communications by risk: Posts risk updates to Discord; sends Gmail emails to the customer for at-risk loads; escalates exceptions to ops; and sends delivery confirmations when marked delivered.
• Runs a daily dispatch sweep at 07:00: Scans the load board for quiet or due-soon loads, uses OpenAI to write an AI dispatch brief, then posts to Discord and emails via Gmail.
