Get fresh EU TED tender notices in n8n—only what you haven’t seen yet
This n8n workflow, Apify EU Tender Radar, checks the official EU TED (Tenders Electronic Daily) procurement database every six hours and returns previously unseen tender notices—already filtered and normalized for your downstream alerts or routing.
What this workflow does
- Runs on a schedule: A Schedule Trigger executes the workflow every six hours.
- Defines your TED search criteria: It sets parameters such as keywords, CPV codes, buyer countries, lookback window, and max results.
- Queries TED via Apify: The workflow calls Apify’s EU Tender Radar actor, which uses the TED Search API v3 to fetch notices.
- Deduplicates automatically: Using a configurable stateNamespace, it outputs only notices that are new since the last run.
-
Normalizes results for alerts: It filters to tender notices and reshapes them into compact alert records including:
- publication number
- publication/dates
- CPV codes
- buyer details
- direct TED URL
- a stable delivery ID
Use cases
- SaaS operators who want reliable EU tender monitoring without manual TED checks.
- Automation engineers building an “EU tender radar” pipeline that triggers routing or notifications only for new tenders.
- Procurement intelligence workflows that need ongoing updates for specific CPV codes, keywords, or buyer countries.
Technical details
- n8n Schedule Trigger (six-hour cadence)
- Set, Code, and Sticky Note nodes to configure and structure the output
- Apify integration using the verified @apify/n8n-nodes-apify community node (apifyn8n-nodes-apify)
- Requires an Apify API token credential
- Configured with your TED query values and a unique stateNamespace for deduplication
Run once in baseline mode to create the initial “seen” state, then activate it so subsequent executions emit only new EU TED tender notices.
