This n8n workflow reads new unread Gmail support emails, uses OpenAI GPT-5-mini to classify the message (return, shipping issue, product complaint, or other), and drafts a professional response directly in Gmail—never sending anything automatically. A human reviews and clicks send.

What this workflow does

• Monitors your inbox: A Gmail trigger polls every 15 minutes for new unread messages.
• Filters automation noise: It filters out no-reply senders and out-of-office auto-responses so only real customer emails reach the AI.
• Classifies with OpenAI: An AI Agent (default: OpenAI GPT-5-mini) reads the email subject and body, then assigns one of four categories: return, shipping issue, product complaint, or other.
• Drafts the reply: It generates a calm, specific response and saves it as a Gmail draft in the same thread as the original email.
• Human-in-the-loop: Nothing is sent automatically—drafts wait for review, optional edits, and manual sending.
• Creates an audit trail: The workflow logs category, sender, and subject into a Data Table named support_t.
