This n8n workflow scans your Gmail threads daily, detects which labeled conversations haven’t received replies after a configurable delay, creates Gmail follow-up drafts (no emails are sent automatically), and then posts a single morning digest to Slack, Discord, or Chatwork so you can review everything in one place.

What this workflow does

• Runs daily at 09:00 based on your configured schedule.
• Fetches all Gmail labels and searches for threads that match your configured follow-up label and are older than a set number of days.
• Loads messages from each matching Gmail thread and checks whether anyone replied by comparing senders against your configured my_email.
• For threads with no reply after the waiting period, builds a follow-up subject and body and creates a Gmail draft in the original thread.
• Removes the follow-up label from each processed thread to avoid chasing the same thread twice.
• Compiles one digest of drafted follow-ups and sends it to your chosen notification channel: Slack, Discord, or Chatwork.

Technical details

• Gmail integration with OAuth2 (configure my_email, follow-up label name, and delay in days).

Setup tip: Create the Gmail label (default FollowUp) and apply it to the threads you want tracked.
