The Gmail Support Triage n8n: OpenAI + Slack + Notion + Sheets workflow watches your Gmail INBOX for new support messages, uses OpenAI to classify urgency and draft a response, then routes urgent items to Slack and Notion while sending normal replies as Gmail drafts. Every processed email is recorded in Google Sheets for reporting.

What this workflow does

• Triggers every minute when a new email arrives in the Gmail INBOX label.
• Extracts key details for each email thread: thread ID, message ID, sender, subject, and a body snippet.
• Sends the email content to OpenAI to return a JSON result containing: category, urgency, a one-sentence summary, and a draft reply.
• High urgency: posts an alert to a Slack channel and creates an escalation task in a Notion database.
• Normal urgency: creates a Gmail draft reply in the original thread using the AI-generated response.
• Logs all outputs by appending a row to Google Sheets with processed email details and the AI results.
