Find high-impression pages that barely get clicks—then email a prioritized fix report every Monday
This Google Search Console + Gmail Zero-Click Pages n8n workflow automatically pulls your Search Analytics by page and query, spots URLs with high impressions but near-zero clicks, and emails you a clean, prioritized report via Gmail—optionally with an OpenAI plain-language summary.
What this workflow does
- Runs weekly every Monday morning on a schedule.
- Requests the last N days of Google Search Console Search Analytics data by page and query.
- Merges URL variants by removing query strings/fragments, filters out operator-style queries, and keeps only pages that exceed your impression threshold while staying under your max-click threshold.
- Calculates average position and CTR, then labels each opportunity as one of: TITLE_META, INTENT_MISMATCH, POSITION_TOO_LOW, or SERP_FEATURE, including an estimate of potential clicks.
- Keeps the top 25 opportunities by impressions and stops if there’s nothing to report.
- Aggregates results into a single report, optionally generates per-page recommendations with OpenAI, and sends it via Gmail.
Use cases
- SaaS operators want a weekly “what to fix first” list for organic visibility losses.
- SEO/automation engineers automate detection of pages with impressions but poor click-through.
- Teams triage “zero-click” situations by likely cause (metadata, intent mismatch, rank, or SERP features) and get it delivered automatically.
Technical details
- Integrations: Google Search Console (OAuth2) and Gmail.
- Core nodes: if, set, code, no op, gmail, aggregate.
-
Setup parameters: configure
siteUrl,days, minImpressions, andmaxClicks; set the Gmail recipient; optionally enable OpenAI for plain-language recommendations.
