This n8n workflow automatically generates a polished Meeting Briefing email for every new Google Calendar event—summarizing each attendee and the company they work for, so you can get up to speed before the call.

What this workflow does

• Triggers on new Google Calendar events: when an event is added, the workflow starts and pulls the attendee list.
• Researches each attendee: for every person on the call, it performs targeted web lookups using the web search tool in the OpenAI Responses API to gather information about the person and their company.
• Loops, collates, and formats: results are generated per attendee, compiled into a single brief, and formatted for readability.
• Sends the briefing via Gmail: the workflow emails the Meeting Briefing to your specified recipient.

Set up in minutes

• Add Google Calendar credentials (for viewing events) and Gmail credentials (to send the email).
• Add your OpenAI credentials as a Header Auth on the Company Search and Person Search nodes:
  • Name: Authorization
  • Value: Bearer {{ YOUR_API_KEY }}
• In the Edit Fields node, set the email address to send the briefing to and include a short bit of context about yourself.
