This n8n automation workflow collects incident reports, uses OpenAI (DeepSeek) to generate a blameless postmortem, logs everything to Google Sheets, and notifies your team via Discord and Gmail—including weekly follow-ups for open and overdue action items.

What this workflow does

• Captures incident reports using an n8n Form trigger.
• Normalizes and validates inputs: assigns an incident ID and timestamps, and checks that title, summary, and severity are present.
• Handles missing required fields: if required data is missing, it posts an alert in Discord and emails the reporter via Gmail to resubmit.
• Generates an AI postmortem draft: sends the incident details to OpenAI (DeepSeek) to produce a JSON postmortem with overview, timeline, root cause, impact, action items, and a short digest.
• Logs outcomes in Google Sheets: appends the full postmortem to the Postmortems tab and extracts/records action items into the ActionItems tab.
• Notifies stakeholders: emails the full postmortem to the reporter via Gmail, posts the digest to Discord, and—if severity is high/critical—sends an additional on-call alert to Discord.
• Runs weekly follow-ups: every Monday 09:00 (Asia/Jakarta), it reads open action items from Google Sheets, sends alerts for overdue items via Gmail and Discord, and posts an AI-written weekly digest (or an “all clear” message if none are open).
