This n8n workflow syncs your WooCommerce products into Pinecone by generating OpenAI embeddings, so your product data is ready for semantic search, recommendations, and AI-powered retrieval. It runs on a manual trigger or on a daily schedule at 03:00, keeping your Pinecone index up to date.

What this workflow does

• Fetches changes: Retrieves a paginated list of published WooCommerce products (product ID and modified date).
• Deduplicates with an n8n Data Table: Loads previously indexed entries from an n8n Data Table, compares them to WooCommerce, and selects a limited batch of new or changed products.
• Pulls full product details: Requests full product details for the selected batch in one WooCommerce API call.
• Enriches each product: For variable products, fetches variations, and retrieves up to 10 WooCommerce reviews per product.
• Prevents duplicate vectors: Builds a clean text representation (product details, variants, and selected reviews), then deletes existing Pinecone vectors for the same fileId before re-indexing.
• Creates embeddings and indexes: Splits the text into chunks, generates OpenAI embeddings, and inserts vectors into Pinecone under the configured namespace.
• Keeps data consistent: Upserts the product’s latest modified date into the Data Table; removes Pinecone vectors and Data Table entries for products no longer in WooCommerce.
