This n8n workflow pulls the latest India VIX value every day, classifies it into volatility regimes, detects regime changes versus your last saved state in Google Sheets, and sends an actionable Slack alert enriched with OpenAI risk context.

What this workflow does

• Runs daily at 15:30 using a schedule.
• Fetches INDIA_VIX via HTTP, validates the response is numeric and non-negative, and normalizes it into a consistent format.
• Classifies the current VIX regime into LOW, NORMAL, ELEVATED, or CRISIS using predefined thresholds.
• Compares the current regime to the prior regime stored in Google Sheets and logs a “no change” result when unchanged.
• On regime shift: sends the transition details to OpenAI (gpt-4.1-nano) to generate JSON-formatted educational guidance for risk context and position sizing.
• Persists results: updates the current state in a CurrentState sheet, appends a transition record to a RegimeHistory sheet, and posts a formatted Slack message including the VIX change and AI context.
