This n8n workflow pulls an Instoryview-tracked Instagram account’s follower or following change history and produces a CSV export—complete with a JSON summary and safe handling for empty results.

What this workflow does

Built for manual execution inside n8n, the workflow:

• Starts manually and requests you to set the tracked Instagram username, whether to export followers or following, and an inclusive from/to date range with a specified timezone.
• Validates settings, then constructs the Instoryview changes API request URL.
• Fetches all change-history pages using cursor pagination, calling the Instoryview Open API across up to 100 pages with a 1.5-second interval.
• Checks completeness and consistency, including account and date-range alignment.
• Normalizes change events into normalized event rows.
• Stops the export when it detects issues such as duplicate events, changing summaries, or incomplete pagination.
• Generates the output files:
  • A CSV file for returned change rows
  • Or a header-only CSV when no changes exist in the selected range
  It also prepares a JSON summary including data coverage and warnings.
