This n8n workflow automates your insurance renewal tracking and claim follow-ups with Google Sheets, sends daily WhatsApp reminders through WATI, and handles inbound WhatsApp messages using OpenAI (gpt-4o-mini) to classify intent, update records, and alert your agent.

What this workflow does

• Runs on a schedule and via WhatsApp events: executes daily at 10:00 AM (Asia/Kolkata) and also triggers on incoming WhatsApp events through a WATI webhook.
• Daily policy & claim checks: reads Policies and Claims from Google Sheets, calculates which customers need renewal reminders, claim document chaser messages, and a daily digest for the agent.
• Sends WhatsApp template messages: dispatches the correct WATI WhatsApp template (renewal reminder, documents pending reminder, and agent digest) for each planned action.
• Writes back to Sheets: records reminder stages and timestamps on Policies and updates the last chase timestamp on Claims.
• Processes inbound customer replies: normalizes the WATI payload, matches the sender to the correct Sheets record, then uses OpenAI (gpt-4o-mini) to classify intent and draft a contextual reply.
• Handles document media: if a customer sends media, downloads the file from WATI, uploads it to Google Drive, and updates the claim entry with received document status and Drive links.
• Agent alerts when needed: sends an additional WATI template alert to the agent when required.
