What this workflow does

• Receives and validates requests: Accepts a header-authenticated webhook containing an LEI (or legal name + country) and validates LEIs using ISO 17442 check digits.
• Queries GLEIF and avoids duplicates: Looks up the entity in the GLEIF API, ensures the match is unambiguous, and checks n8n Data Tables to prevent duplicate open reviews or reuse of a recent accepted decision.
• Builds the ownership chain context: Walks the GLEIF direct-parent chain up to a configured maximum depth, captures reporting exceptions, and also retrieves the ultimate-parent relationship.
• Applies KYB risk rules: Flags ownership concerns (e.g., FATF-listed country links, lapsed/withheld registry data, circular ownership, declaration discrepancies) and calculates a minimum risk-rating floor plus a suggested document list.
• Generates a structured memo with OpenAI: Uses an OpenAI agent (with optional GLEIF lookups and prior-review retrieval) to produce a review pack.
• Manages approvals via Gmail: Emails the reviewer using Gmail with a decision form link, routes decisions (accept / request documents / escalate), supports up to two follow-up questions to the OpenAI agent, and requires a second approver for accepting high-risk outcomes.
• Stays current: Logs outcomes in n8n Data Tables and re-checks accepted clients weekly for changes.
