Automatically send LinkedIn connection invites from n8n using HeyReagent (with custom notes)

This n8n workflow finds LinkedIn profiles by keywords and location using the HeyReagent API, then sends LinkedIn targeted connection invites with your custom message—paced to reduce rate pressure.

What this workflow does

• Manual execution in n8n: Run it on-demand via a manual trigger.
• Define your targeting inputs: Set LinkedIn search keywords, target location, a maximum number of people to return, and the connection note text.
• Search profiles with HeyReagent: Calls HeyReagent’s search_people endpoint to retrieve matching LinkedIn profiles.
• Process each person individually: Splits the returned people list so each profile is handled as a separate item.
• Send invitations with spacing + resilience: Calls HeyReagent’s send_invitation endpoint for each profile URL, sending an invitation about every 4 seconds and continuing even if an API call returns an error.

• Scheduling note: For scheduled runs, the Connect plan is required to keep LinkedIn connected; on the free plan, it can disconnect after inactivity.
