Log Google Jobs to Google Sheets every day—automatically (Apify + n8n)
This n8n workflow runs each morning, scrapes Google Jobs using Apify for your job search queries, and appends the latest results into your Google Sheets as dated rows—so you can track openings without manual searching.
What this workflow does
- Runs daily at 07:00 on a schedule.
- Defines your job search inputs: a list of queries plus the country code and location to search.
- Scrapes Google Jobs via Apify using the hirepulse/google-jobs-scraper actor.
- Filters results to keep only records that include a job title.
- Formats each job into a single Google Sheets row, adding today’s date and fields such as company, location, salary, posting age, source, and apply URL.
- Appends rows to the selected Google Sheets worksheet (no overwriting—each run adds new data).
Use cases
- SaaS operators tracking roles (e.g., “frontend engineer”, “product manager”) across a specific region.
- Automation engineers building a repeatable lead-gen/job-intelligence pipeline with Apify and Google Sheets.
- Recruiting teams maintaining an always-updated job log with posting age and apply links for quick follow-up.
- Job seekers logging daily openings for consistent monitoring and historical reference.
Technical details
- n8n scheduler: runs at 07:00 daily.
- Apify integration: apify/google-jobs-scraper (via the n8n-nodes-apify connector).
- Workflow nodes used: set, code, filter, sticky note, Google Sheets, and Apify node.
- Setup: connect an Apify credential (a paid Apify plan may be required for full results) and a Google Sheets OAuth connection, then set your spreadsheet (document ID) and worksheet (sheet name).
