Monitor your competitors’ Meta Ads automatically—weekly
This Meta Ads Monitor workflow automatically pulls Meta Ad Library results for your watch terms using Bright Data, analyzes fresh creatives and landing URLs with GPT-5.6, and emails a clean HTML digest via Gmail—deduplicated with an n8n Data Table.
What this workflow does
- Runs weekly: scheduled execution to continuously track competitor ad activity.
- Queries Meta Ad Library: builds search URLs for each watch term and fetches result pages via Bright Data Web Unlocker.
- Extracts ad-level intelligence: parses each results page into individual ads, capturing the library ID, advertiser, ad text/offer, creative URL, start date, and days running, plus the unwrapped landing page URL (including UTM parameters).
- Sorts, caps, and “proven” logic: organizes ads per term, applies a configured cap, and marks ads as proven once they exceed your days-running threshold.
- Deduplicates across terms: ads appearing under multiple watch terms are consolidated to avoid redundant reporting.
- Prevents repeat emails: checks an n8n Data Table so only ads never reported before are included, then stores new library IDs for future runs.
- Validates landing offers: fetches a small set of top landing pages (one per domain) through Bright Data and extracts live offer/price cues to compare against the ad promise.
- Summarizes angles with OpenAI: uses GPT-5.6 to produce a digest of dominant offers and angles (including advertiser names and day counts), then sends it as a formatted HTML email via Gmail.
Use cases
- SaaS operators tracking competitor positioning and new promotions in Meta Ads.
- Automation engineers building reliable weekly reporting for paid media research.
- Growth teams validating whether landing pages reflect the promises inside active creatives.
