Monitor Instagram Locations and Get Instant Telegram Alerts—Automatically with n8n

This n8n workflow lets you select Instagram locations via an n8n Form and then, every 30 minutes, searches recent posts for those locations in RecentReborn. New, high-engagement posts and emerging “regular” creators are logged in Google Sheets and pushed to you via Telegram alerts.

What this workflow does

• Collect locations via n8n Form: Receive a location search term, look up matching Instagram locations in RecentReborn, and let you choose which locations to monitor.
• Store monitoring targets safely: Save selected location IDs and names to the Google Sheets Locations tab without overwriting existing per-location monitoring state.
• Run on schedule (or manually): Execute every 30 minutes (or on manual run) and notify you via Telegram if no active locations are configured.
• Query and page RecentReborn efficiently: For each active location, fetch recent location posts (up to three pages) and stop paging once results are older than the stored cutoff time.
• Deduplicate, filter, and log: Append newly discovered posts to the Google Sheets Posts tab and upsert qualifying accounts into the Creators tab.
• Preserve your edits: Upserts maintain any existing Outreach Status values you’ve edited in the sheet.
• Track progress per location: Update watermark/recent post IDs and run status in Locations so the next run continues from the right point.
• Send Telegram notifications: Alerts for viral posts, creators who become “regulars,” optional per-run digests, and error/warning messages.
