Monitor new Uniswap V3 pools on Base in real time—powered by GeckoTerminal
This n8n workflow pulls the latest new Uniswap V3 Base pools from the GeckoTerminal API, scores them for risk, stores the results in an n8n Data Table, and serves an auto-refreshing HTML dashboard via a webhook.
What this workflow does
- Fetches new pools on demand: Runs via a manual trigger to retrieve the latest Base “new-pools” feed from the GeckoTerminal API.
- Extracts key pool metrics: For each pool, it parses the pool name and captures liquidity, 24h volume, and 24h transaction count.
- Computes a risk score & level: The workflow calculates a simple risk score/risk level based on the available metrics, then categorizes results accordingly.
- Filters results: It filters out major-token pairs and excludes pools below a liquidity threshold.
- Saves and displays pool records: Stores qualifying pool records in an n8n Data Table for later viewing.
- Serves a live dashboard: A webhook endpoint loads stored records, deduplicates and sorts by creation time, computes summary stats (total pools, last-hour count, and risk distribution), and returns an HTML dashboard that auto-refreshes every 30 seconds. Each pool links directly to its GeckoTerminal page.
Use cases
- SaaS operators & analysts tracking new Uniswap V3 pool activity on Base with an always-current view.
- Automation engineers building internal monitoring dashboards using n8n + Data Tables.
- DeFi risk monitoring workflows that need lightweight scoring and filtering for newly created pools.
Technical details
- Nodes/parts: Manual Trigger, HTTP Request (GeckoTerminal API), Code, Data Table (store + retrieve), Webhook, and HTML response for the dashboard.
-
Dashboard route: Visit the webhook URL at
/webhook/new-pools-dashboard(prepend your n8n domain) to view the live feed. - Setup requirement: Create an n8n Data Table (e.g., new_pools_official) with columns including pool address, token symbols/addresses, fee tier, liquidity, 24h volume, tx count, created_at, risk fields, and network.
