The Monthly Missing Docs Reminder (Google Drive + Chatwork) | n8n workflow checks each client’s previous-month Google Drive folder for missing required subfolders, then sends a Chatwork reminder listing what’s empty—while updating a Google Sheets tracker to prevent duplicate alerts.

What this workflow does

This n8n automation runs on a schedule at 12:00 on the 10th day of every month. It:

• Calculates the previous month’s folder prefix in Reiwa format.
• Loads the client list from the Google Sheets sheet named “clients”.
• Skips clients when their last_reminder value equals today’s date (YYYY-MM-DD), avoiding duplicate reminders.
• For each remaining client, searches Google Drive for the previous-month folder under the client’s parent folder and retrieves its subfolders.
• Filters subfolders against the client’s comma-separated required_folders.
• Uses the Google Drive API to verify each required subfolder contains at least one non-folder file.
• Sends a Chatwork reminder with the missing categories and updates last_reminder in Google Sheets to today.
