What this workflow does

• Receives a purchase request via a manual trigger or a POST webhook.
• Applies procurement policy settings, normalizes the incoming payload with defaults, and generates a structured sourcing plan using the Anthropic Claude Planner Agent.
• Negotiates with suppliers by iterating through each supplier and using the Anthropic Claude Negotiator Agent to propose counter-offers across multiple rounds—simulating responses until an agreement, walk-away, or max rounds is reached.
• Validates outcomes with the Anthropic Claude Validator Agent plus deterministic policy checks (including budget, lead time, and minimum supplier rating), then upserts each offer into Postgres.
• Scores and ranks eligible offers, then uses the Anthropic Claude Approval Agent to recommend auto-approve, escalate, or reject—enforcing hard guardrails in code.
• Escalates to humans in Slack when needed: posts an approval request with Approve/Reject links and waits for a resume webhook carrying the decision.
• Persists the final decision to Postgres and posts the approved/rejected outcome back to Slack.
